  1. Well, I'd only recommend Britax (Boulevard or Marathon) as that's the only seat we have had for our daughter since she was a newborn and it has held up great and been through two accidents and a couple of very long roadtrips.

One thing to keep in mind with the Britax seats is that they'll hold up to 65 lbs whereas other seats only hold up to 50 lbs, so your child would be able to use the Britax and stay that much safer for quite a while longer.

  2. I just got my 7 month old a Graco Comfortsport ($80) and we really like it!  It will fit better in our car once we turn it around, but all the convertible seats tend to be bulky.  We have an Evenflo Triumph in hubby's car, and it is ok, too.

  3. I got the 60 dollar one at Walmart and am very happy with that one

  4. I have the Evenflo Triumph and LOVE it. The straps are adjustable without having to remove it from the car. It's rated better in crash protection than the Britax by consumer reports and it has just as good of ratings for ease of use. The bonus is that it costs half the price.
