I'm 14 now but I'm planning to move out of the United States when I'm older.I currently live in the Valley in Los Angeles (which is h**l) At what age is the best time to move and where? I want a nice peaceful place with friendly people, little pollution, all that stuff. I'm aiming at places in Europe especially France and maybe the UK. I only speak English but I can learn another language.

  1. If you know the nice places in the UK, it can be a great place to move to. I know a lot of American's love it.

  2. France is beautiful D:

  3. You might wanna wait til you turn 18-21yrs old, then it would at least be more legal. I think you should put Switzerland on the "hit parade", cuz they don't fight, and they ride bikes alot-really clean air there. That is where I would be. Look Switzerland up, just might be what you're lookin' for. Not to mention the chocolate and pastries!!

  4. I would suggest Canada but stay away from Toronto, Vancouver and Quebec... (well ok Montreal is nice).

BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and the maritimes are all awesome.  The people are friendly, there is almost no pollution, crime is very low in comparison to where you are, life moves at a different pace, you have your freedoms here and we accept those who are peaceful.

    Goodluck!

  5. El Salvador, Belize or Roatan, Honduras. The people there are beautiful, very peaceful and sweet. Your best bet is Roatan, Honduras, you'd be surprised to know that a lot of people speak English there. And the official language of Belize is english, although its in Central America. You might want to learn Spanish, too! :)

  6. you should move to new zealand its a awesome place, main language is english and everyone is friendly. If you like the outdoors you will love New Zealand

  7. Japan is incredible; I spent eight days there a couple months ago, and everything took my breath away. I was in Tokyo and Kamakura, and Kamakura is the most gorgeous place I have ever seen. You can travel there temporarily while still getting paid for it as long as you finish four years of college; there's a program called the JET program that pays you to go to Japan for 1-5 years and help teach English to school kids. You should try and take a semester to study abroad during your college years, too. Go as many places as you can, then decide where you want to go. I thought I wanted to live outside the states, and I still think it would be cool, but I've pretty much decided to have a steady ESL teaching job stateside, then spend my summers traveling all over the world teaching ESL anywhere I'm interested in traveling. It's important to choose a career that will let you travel, and to realize that it is something that's hard on the people who love you and makes for some sticky situations in your romantic relationships. My boyfriend and I have gone round and round about the fact that I want to travel and have a family, too but I think we've worked it out nearly 100% now. Love conquers all. Good luck and hang on to that dream of yours!

  8. how about australia....?

  9. If you want friendly, peaceful, unpolluted, English speaking,  beautiful and with a high standard of living and good lifestyle then Australia and New Zealand are the countries that you should look at.  Try and become qualified in something we are short of (eg. nursing, engineering, mining, some trades, etc.) then you will be allowed to migrate no problem.  Life is very good down under!

  10. The Grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Ask again when you are 18

  11. Maybe Iraq or Africa will be a nice place to live.
