Best coverage makeup?

I need new makeup and I'd like to buy some that will go on smooth...not look cakey, you know. I've heard bare minerals is really good, but it's a bit on the pricey side. I also have a little bit of acne and oily skin. What are some other alternatives that i can buy at walmart or a drug store?

Physicians formula all the way.  Try their Mineral makeup.  I would try the pressed powder for oily skin.  It may even clear up your acne a bit.  You can basically find this product anywhere too.  Good luck!

i use and love cover girl advanced radiance in ivory. i don't have severely oily skin though, but i heard great things about covergirl's foundation and they have some for all skin types. their website tell you which ones to get depending on your skin type. they don't have a HUGE variety of colors though, so it's important to look around. however, they give nice coverage and it's smooth, blendable and even. i use a makeup sponge to apply it. i've heard that's the trick to nice foundation. the professionals use sponges as well.

i've always heard great things about neutrogena mineral sheers powder foundation and covergirl trublend mineral powder foundation. i've used the trublend one and i liked it before.

Being a professional makeup artist I have used many mineral brands. I would Never recommend Drug store brands as they are loaded with toxic chemicals that will break you out and irritate your skin. I also know for a fact some of them look cakey, powdery and just not attractive. Check out their safety here.....http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com  

I also would not recommend Bare Escentuals for many reasons.

1)They use a cheap low end mineral called bismuth oxychloride, this mineral is known to cause skin irritation, a dry itchy feeling, rash and acne (just google bare escentuals bismuth oxychloride itch and you will find pages of people with complaints) Loreal bare naturale, maybelline etc also use this mineral.

2) If you have even slightly oily skin it will look very GREASY by noon

3) Their minerals wear off quick and you need to reapply several times a day (due to the bismuth)

4) They say they are all natural and have no preservatives. That is untrue as they use chemical parabean preservatives in their mineral veil and other skin care formulas.

By far the best mineral makeup I have used (I use it daily on myself and clientele) is Faerie Organic Minerals.

1) They ARE natural, they do not use preservatives at all, No bismuth oxychloride, No cheap fillers (talc, cornstarch etc)

2)Their minerals last all day no need to reapply even in heat

3) They are light, airy, feel as your not wearing makeup and leave a dewy healthy glow but cover great

4)They use a high end expensive mineral called BORON NITRIDE, this mineral is what makes their products better than others, it is antibacterial (acne gets better with use) it is a skin perfector and soother

5) They are more affordable than bare escntuals and sheer cover etc..
