Best credit card? Cash back or Points?

Question

I'm not looking for 0% apr blah blah... I looking for cash back or points that would really offer good. I know Discover offers 5% back on certain things at certain times of the year but... Only those three months...

If I have to get two cards.... Then that is what I will do. Perhaps one Gas Card, and one for all other purchases...

Any help would be appreciated.

I didn't see anything about "those three months". I just checked the application at http://www.creditcardmix.com and here's exactly what it said: "...Earn a full 5% Cashback Bonus on category purchases throughout the year...".  There was no mentioning of a three month period. There's a citi cash return card that has some kind of time restrictions for rewards, but not Discover.

The best card as far as rewards, for me, was AmEx gold for business. I use it for buying materials and paying for all my biz expenses. The points are easy to convert into miles, merchandise, etc. If you have a business with a bunch of expenses, get one. It's a nice deal!
