Question:

Best cruise line for a honeymoon?

My fiance and I are getting married in May, in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. For the honeymoon, we're giving serious thought to a cruise though neither of us have ever been on one. Which line would lend itself to plenty of fun, yet romance as well?

    Have  a safe trip.

  3. Carnival "the fun ships"

  4. I send all of my clients on Carnival. They have a huge fleet and variety of destinations.

I am also able to get the best prices for my Honeymoon clients from them.

  5. Why pick one?

When my wife and I got married, we did two back to back 7-day cruises...one on Carnival, one on Royal Caribbean.  Carnival is livelier and more "fun", but there's a lot of children on Carnival's cruises (IMHO, kids don't belong in either Vegas or on cruises).

  6. I was on a Carnival...and they gave away about $2,000 dollars worth of jewels to a honeymoon couple...a couple who won a "game" they had set up in the beginning of the cruise and at the end, the winning couple got the prize.

Have fun though and wish you the best!

iBtraveling.com has some great cruise deals...check them out.  That's where I always find a good deal.

  7. disney cruise! lol jk =)

hmm try carnival, they have lots of destinations, if you want to go far, norwegian offers pretty good ones

  8. Princess cruises are fun and they have night clubs (no smoking), and fancy restaurants!!! I went to Alaska on a princess cruise last summer. (age 10)

  9. You'd have to pay me to take a Carnival cruise again, and I'd demand a suite.  Their cruises are the cheapest for a reason.  I've stayed at better motel 6s.

Royal Caribbean is a step up, but still not 'luxurious'.

Holland is a step up from that and they have some fabulous destinations.

Celebrity can be a blast if you are an active couple.

Princess tends to be a little older crowd.  Not my scene.

NCL doesn't do it for me, either.  I like the idea of freestyle dining, but I'm afraid of the kind of people that it attracts.   (people who cant bother to dress up or aren't smart enough to figure out how dining on other cruises work).

Good luck to you and congrats on your engagement! : )

  10. hi check out this web site they have many cruises for different occasions it will help you out! http://www.travelbycity.com/tashadimmitt

  11. We took Carnival for our honeymoon. They gave us a bottle of champagne.

  12. Carnival

  13. this is a time where alot of college kids are travelling, so i don't recommend carnival at all.

ncl is a great line. but i suppose you should think about where you want to go first. there aren't any bad cruise lines, so go by destinations first.

But the three i've been happiest with are ncl, princess and crystal.

good luck and congrats on your upcoming nuptuals

  14. Royal Caribbean
