Question:

Best cruise line for newlyweds?

I was wondering which line would be a good decision for a young couple without kids and we wanted to go around december (to miss rainy season). I was thinking of princess because my moms bestfriend loves the princess line. But is Princess for elderly and do you have to dress ritzy like a rich person. That's not really my or my husbands scene. Any info?

  1. holland america no doubt, clean, great service, not many kid/teenagers, unlike RC where service suckedd

  2. I personally love Carnival, it is great and has a mix of people.

if you are both under 21 you may want to bring you marriage license as most Cruise line require it.

  3. Royal Caribbean. I did it as a newly wed. lots of couples, it was great.

  4. Every cruise line has different little perks about them. I have been on Carnival, Celebrity, and Norwegian. It depends on what you are looking for... if you are looking for a fun ship where you can go out and party on the ship at night, Carnival is definitely the one to go on. The food and service could have been better but it was a BLAST. If you want it a little more romantic and quiet, Celebrity is really nice. I think I was the only one younger than 60 on the ship, the service was great and the food was excellent. Norwegian was ok but I wouldn't recommend that one.

  5. I think Carnival is the best cruise deal for anyone.  They are the cheapest, and I have never had a bad experience with them.  They are very casual.  The only dress requirement is in the dining room, and it is basically, no shorts or tee shirts.  The equivalent would be like a business casual style of dress.

  6. carnavil cruise lines i went on my first one last yr and had a great time i saw a lot of newly weds and they did special things for them.. hope this helps congrads and goodluck

  7. Most of these cruise lines are very nice.  It depends on how much are you willing to spend on a cruise.  You can get a balcony room that is very nice and bigger than the inside room, and of course, this will cost you more.

I work with a travel company and can help you find the best deal for your cruise based on your budget.  You can email me at rcsan@yahoo.com

    Have a great vacation!

  8. I believe that a Royal Caribbean cruise would be best for you.  I have personally booked several honeymooners this year with RC.  RC has become quite competitive with Carnival.  Carnival is great but they also cater to families and younger persons.  RC does like families but it seems to be older children.  Another option is Celebrity.  It is a sister company of RC and is wonderful.  The only downside is that it too can run to a little older crowd.  I would be happy to do some research for you and give you some quotes.  Please feel free to email me.  I respond quickly and my motto is the best cruise for the longest time for the least money with the best customer service.  Hope to hear from you soon.

  9. I have been on Royal Caribbean. It was great wasnt many kids at all on the boat. There was a Carnival ship docked next to us in Nassau and I saw alot of kids on it. It really doesnt matter which line you go on. Just pick a cruise that fits in your budget and goes somewhere you would like to go. Alot of ppl say carnival is cheaper but I booked a 4 day Bahama cruise with Royal Caribbean because it was cheaper than a 3 day with Carnival. It just really depends on when you book it.

  10. Royal Caribbean

  11. You find a wide variety of cruises and destinatons on "YTB Travel - Amazing Tours and Travel"

This will allow you and your family to compare.

Thank you and have a great day.

  12. Why a Cruise may I ask?  You should try an all inclusive resort. everything is paid for like a cruise but you're not cooped up in a boat. try allinclusive.com  Its very affordable. May I suggest Cancun?

  13. the only one i've been on is carnival. my husband and i went on the 'valor' last summer which is one of their newest ones, the south caribbean cruise. it was great. just make sure to get a room with a window. we didn't have one and it felt a little wierd not know if it was daylight or dark 'til we got up on deck. there were alot of people in their 20's and up, it's a good party ship. you can dress however you want but you'll need nice clothes for dinner every night b/c the dining room has a dress code.

also, if i went again i would take advantage of the gym (and the spa services) because there is food everywhere you look (chocolate buffet, luau, pina coladas by the pool, 24 hour cafes, free champagne) and we both ended up gaining a few pounds b/c we didn't get any exercise.

oh and i totally agree with Touhuni, if i were going on my honeymoon i'd much rather stay in a resort.

more private and don't have to deal with the crowds & buffet lines!
