Best cruise line or ship to Mexico for young adults?

I'm 23 years old and looking for a fun cruise that would be great for young adults. Ideally, I'd like to be on a cruise with mostly people my age, fun nightlife, active lifestyle amenities.

Are there any cruise ships that go to mexico and have these features?

Thanks!

  1. Your best bets are Carnival, Norwegian and Royal Caribbean.  All are well known for their physical activities, whether that be some sort of day time pool activity or dancing at night.  As such, these lines attract a younger demographic.

Other lines, such as Princess, HAL or Celebrity are better known for their mental activities, which include classes and lectures.  As such, these lines attract a less active demographic.

If you take a shorter cruise, such as a three, four or five night cruise, you are more likely to find a younger crowd then on a one week or longer cruise.

  2. I think you would have a great time on Carnival cruises to mexico.  or Norwegian cruise line.  they have 3 day cruises to mexico , 7 day cruises to mexico

    here s a great link  cruisecritic.com

  3. Hi there,

try  Mexico Cruise Discount page  http://www.cruise-reviews.com/discount-c...

For Mexico Cruise Information visit http://www.cruise-reviews.com/port_info/... page....

  4. I have been on both Carnival and Royal Caribbean Cruises, and Royal Caribbean has much more things to do.

The night life is ten times better on any boat.

And they always have fun activities during the day, I always liked at sea days better than port days on Royal Caribbean.

If you can, try and get the Mariner of the Seas with Royal, it has an Ice Skating rink, 2 or 3 clubs, a mall, several lounges mini gulf and plenty of other things to do on it. It's my personal favorite.

  5. I love both Carnival and Royal Caribbean. But last time we went on Carnival (W caribbean to Cozumel) the entertainment on board was fantastic especially for young adults. The bands playing were awesome, the clubs and the pool party was great. You can't go wrong with either one, but I personally think entertainment in Carnival is more young-adult oriented.

  6. royal carribbean . on vision of the sea   me and my husband went last  year  i thought the staff were so friendly   and the food was great

  7. Are you talking Mexican Riviera from LA or Mayan Riviera from Galveston?

    Both are great trips

They can be made in 3-5 days.

Best Cruise line for young adults is Carnival.  They have won recognition for having the best entertainment of the major cruise lines.  Of the large cruise vessels (over 700 passengers) they have the largest staterooms.  And every cruise has events tailored for singles.

Other choices are Royal Caribbean or Norwegian, possibly Princess, but their demographics are a little older than Carnivals.

I have been on 10 Carnival cruises in past 5 years and enjoyed every one.  Have also been on one or more cruise on 4 other cruise lines in the same time period.

I always buy my cruises through greatratestravelservice@yahoo. com

  8. If you want younger crowds that's more fun, try Carnival.  they cater toward younger people so the fares are cheaper as well.  They have different itineraries cruising Mexico, and they're called Fun ships for a reason.

  9. I'm partial to NCL (Norwegian) and have been on several cruises with them to various destinations.  The reason I keep going back with them time and time again is because they offer "freestyle cruising" which means you are not restricted to eating at a certain time.  Most cruise lines give you a pre-set time to eat and you have the same table mates all week.  I like being able to plan my own day and activities and fit in eating when and where I prefer.  I know some other cruise lines are beginning to offer at least some freestyle-like options on their ships, but I haven't seen the true freedoms that come on an all freestyle ship.  There are always activities planned like pool competitions, pub crawls, organized sports activities, etc.

It makes sense to check a website like cruisecritic.com and look at the itinerary of the ship you are thinking of going on.  They have professional reviewers and also have reviews from everyday people like us who write about what they liked and didn't like.  You may also see good suggestions on things to do on-board and things to avoid.  You should realize that cruising is a vacation medium that attracts people from all backgrounds and ages.  You will most likely encounter a good percentage of older folks on your cruise, but there's no rule that you have to participate in the same activities as them.

For me, it's the best kind of vacation...I can't wait to go on  another.

Good luck choosing your cruise line.
