Best cruise lines?

My bf and I are trying to find out which cruise line we should go on, we are looking to go in January and want to go to the Caribbean....any suggestions?? And does anyone know of the things to do over in Jamaica and Cayman. ( this is where we are more than liking cruising to)

I recommend Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Princess and Norwegian, pretty much in that order.  I have been on all of them and they do great cruises.  Maybe not as much partying as Carnival but you will have a great time and a better cruise.

When you go to Jamaica, do a ship sponsored tour or activity rather than going on your own.  You can get ripped off in Jamaica if you are not careful.  The two main attractions to not miss there are Dunn's River Falls and Rafting on the Martha Brae River (or another river).  Both are great fun.

In the Caymans there are a bunch of tours with dolphins and turtles and sting rays.  But I suggest just catching a taxi, jitney or bus to te Beach,  &-mile beach is great and only a short ride (about $5.  a piece each way by jitney/mini-bus.)

If you like to party and have fun - then Carnival and Royal Caribbean.  Can't go wrong and the price is RIGHT.    Search for WESTERN CARIBBEAN cruises when you look for Jamaica and Grand Cayman.  You'll probably go to Cozumel too.

If you like the nightlife and party scene then Carnival is the ship for you. You can snorkel and sunbath and shop. Some of the islands allow you to pet stringrays and take excursions to some of the ruins.

If you want luxury and pampering, try Holland America, or either Princess.
