  1. Take a Disney cruise.  I didn't think it would be that great, but the food was incredible, the shows were way better than on the other cruise lines, and they actually do a better job of keeping little kids away than the other less-family cruises.

  2. You can leave on the worlds largest cruise ship Freedom of the Seas (?Royal Caribbean) from Miami Florida.  They will soon be releasing its sister ship Liberty of the Seas.  These ships are amazing!

  3. Princess Caribean

  4. go royal caribbean those ships are so nice, thats where my fiance and i are going for our honeymoon.

  5. sStay away from Norwegian Cruise Line! Food sucks, over priced drinks, on boat activities lacking, nightly entertainment boring, excursion way too expensive, ships filthy, crew rude, and organizationally challenged. And if you have kids, forget it. They will be bored after the first day.

Try the Raddison line. It's first class all the way. Loved the service and prices.

  6. It really depends what you are looking for. Each cruise line offers something a little different.

Carnival: The least expensive line, not always the best service, food, cleanliness, etc. Popular for families and kids, also popular for partying and drinking. Can be a little crazy onboard and you see a lot of young kids running around.

Royal Caribbean: A little higher priced than Carnival. The newer ships are great, Freedom of the Seas is amazing and has a ton to do onboard. Food, service, etc. is all quite a bit better than Carnival. In my experience there doesn't seem to be as many kids around.

Disney: A great line for just about anyone. Food, service, cleanliness, shows, etc. are all fantastic. Much better than expected. You get a higher quality cruise for a lower cost than some of the more luxury ships. A very popular ships for families, but Disney has such great onboard entertainment for kids that you don't see them as often.

You then move up to lines like Princess, Celebrity, Cunard, Holland America, etc. These are all fantastic lines, and I highly recommend them, especially for someone looking for a more romantic atmosphere, better food and service, etc. But, these lines tend to be more popular for older individuals and some of them don't have as much to do onboard as some other lines.

  7. I loved Celebrity cruises because there weren't a ton of kids and it was pretty handicap accessible which is what my husband needs. Carnival and Disney get overwhelmingly full of children so its a little less romantic if that is the kind of cruise you're looking for.

  8. We leave in two weeks from Ft. Lauderdale on Royal Caribbean.

  9. Royal Caribbean is my family's favorite... a lot of activities....
