I dont really know much about makeup but my wife usually buys all her makeup from this company in the internet called Artistry. I've done some research on this brand and its said that its way better than all the other leading companies. hey hun. it doesn't matter what the formula really is from brand to brand. they all work the same none will give you more of an effect or less of one. instead what makes the difference is the wand. i would suggest one with a curved end and with longer bristles on one side and shorter ones on the other to target different lashes. try to buy a high end product which will give you the best wand possible. then once the product is gone (use within 6 mnths or less) keep the brush and wash it and buy a drug store brand which will keep yourself on budget :P

i would suggest MAC, not too expensive but high quality. apply by wiggling the brush through the roots and work your way to the tips. oh and invest on a eye lash curler. run it through hot water before use and apply sturdy pressure instead of pumping it which promotes the lashes to fall out. oh and never use eyelash curlers after applying mascara
