  1. Look up New Jersey's Montessori program's.  They are considered the most compassionate of all child cares.  It felt as good as dropping my son off with my Mom.

  2. Call the closest ones around and ask to take a tour of the place...experience it for yourself! Many people go and check everything out before figuring out the best daycare.

  3. The best way to know if a school takes care of your child in the way you want and engages her in activities that you think she will learn from is to observe. Do this at different times of the day and week. Don't always let the center know when you are coming.

  4. Here is a link for reviews on the best child care facilities in New Jersey:  http://www.njchildcareresources.com/inde...

Search through them and narrow it down to a few, then visit the ones you've narrowed it down to and ask to take a tour so you can scope out the place (check cleanliness, teacher/child interaction, classroom setup, and overall organization and structure of the facility.  If it seems messy and chaotic, I wouldn't recommend it!)  Hope this helps!
