Cafe Mozart on the Upper West Side on West 70th Street

They make great Black Forest Cake

I love the lemon meringue pie and the strawberry blonde cheesecake at the Brooklyn Diner on West 57th Street - the slices are big enough to feed four people.

I've saved the best for last - Payard Bistro on Lexington and 78th Street.  My favorite is the crepes with mango creme and lychees.

This one groovy spot; there is such a variety of food and dessert are good - there's also celeb sightings...my favorite entree is the chicken pot pie & frozen hot  chocolate.

My 2nd choice would Juniors Cheesecake-there are several locations but this is my favorite one:no matter what diet I'm on; I can never leave without a slice of Jr's famous cheesecake. My best friend always get a gets strawberry shortcake. Before we chow down on desserts I enjoy a BLT on challah bread.

I believe Serendity is still closed, so check it out, but it is not that special.

Best deli is Katz's on Houston Street on the lower east side of Manhattan.

Best dessert is Ferrara at Mulberry and Grand St in Little Italy or  Payard Bistro
