A kill switch hidden in the car prevents the car from being started. It is just a simple on / off toggle switch spliced into the hot wire going to the ignition. The toggle switch has to be in the on position before your car can be started. In the off position, no electricity will go to the ignition.

Cost less than $5 and any monkey can install it.
