Best digital SLR bang for the buck.

Question

Between the Canon, Nikon and Fuji, from experience which is the best for the money spent. I know that Nikon has great optics. I had a Canon A-1 years ago and liked it very much but dont know much about their digital stuff. I currently have a Fuji 5200 and am looking to up grade.

Try finding a Canon 20D or 30D on ebay. They're two and one (respectively) generations old but can be found for around $400 and $550, respectively. These cameras were $1200 when they came out. I use a 20D and it's still a great camera.

The Nikon D40 with the kit lens, 18-55mm, can't be beat. The lens is razor sharp and the battery life is excellent. It's around $479.00 and it's reliable I know because I own one.
