Best digital camera for photo and video?

Need a camera that does photo and video

Gonna be using it mainly for skate footy

If you are an amatuer photographer then Canon powershot A580 or Nikon coolpix L10 are best for quality pictures.

or,go for Olympus FE-310 if the build quality matters you,although its price is a little higher than the above two.

If you are professional photographer then Canon S3IS and Olympus stylus 1030 SW are good offering style and quality.

I would suggest getting a fuji :] I have one and am fully satisfied w/ my purchase. My mom does things w/ photography and thinks that Fuji is the best brand. Good Luck.

If you want to take serious photos and videos of your skateboarding I would suggest you get a separate video and digital camera. The videos that digital cameras take are pretty crappy.

If you're just looking for something to take short video clips with then any digital camera over $200 should do you fine. Since you'll be using it in a skateboarding setting I suggest you look at Olympus cameras because they're shock proof so have a better chance of surviving if you drop them.
