its tough to tell you this...all the high end ones will be similar, if they use high quality materials. I would stay away from monster though, over priced and not as high of quality as many others.

try http://www.gepco.com for some high quality HDMI and DVI cable. These guys are the standard for high quality cables and broadcasting.

* You can also call this company and someone would probably be willing to help you with your blurring issue and help trouble shoot.

"Timmmmmmy" has a point.  Digital signals are either on or off.   The variations in picture (and sound) quality are controlled by your equipment.  An HDMI connection to your TV means that the TV is decoding the digital information.  When you use an analog (component) connection, the decoding is being done in the equipment (Blu-ray Disc player, HD cable box, etc.).

If the picture became blurry when you used the HDMI cable, that means the digital decoder in your TV isn't as good as the decoder in your equipment.  Here's a link explaining why HDMI won't always offer the best connection:  http://www.avtruths.com/hdmi.html

Digital is digital when it comes to cables.  PLEASE don't buy into all the marketing hype when it comes to monster cable.  There have been several studies showing that monster cable and other "high end" cables are a rip off.  monoprice.com has good quality cables at an excellent price.  I've talked to several home theater enthusiasts that have nothing but good things to say about these cables.  I have some and I've had no problems, just as good as all the "high end" cables I used to buy.

When your buying digital, a cables a cable, you either get a crystal picture or no picture at all, buy the cheapest.
