  1. Try Gabriel's Wharf on the South Bank - there's a Pizza Expess and another restaurant which looks like a shack, does sme lovely food (it's the one furtherest away from the entrance to the wharf).

  2. there is a nice restaurant/cafe in knightsbridge-brompton road close to harrods called patisserie concerto...

they have very delicious good priced set menus....

and also the mouth waqtering dessert cakes after that...

    tell us what you chose..

    have a nice time

  3. The restaurant at Tate Modern is pretty good. It is open late on Fridays and Saturdays, and you can book tables (no reservations in the week I think). It is near the top of the building so the views a great, especially if you are at the river side of the restaurant. Food and service were good, and good value, when I was there. The only downside is that it is a large open plan room, so fairly bustly. But the tables are well-spaced.

  4. There's a nice little modestly priced Italian restaurant on Brewer Street in Soho called Topo Gigio's. Its a very friendly atmosphere, and the choice of food is very varied and quite delicious.

  5. For a little west of Central London in Brentford(near Sion Park), try the Weir gastro pub. Great food, good beer and pleasant atmosphere. Service is exceptional.

  6. Belgo Centraal

    50 Earlham Street

    Covent Garden

We've been there a few times and love it.  Its not for a romantic meals as its quite noisy but this adds to the amazing atmosphere.  They do some really nice seafood but I hate fish so I have meat and there's plenty of that to choose from.  Never tried the puds as I'm always too full.

Enjoy yourselves whatever you choose!  Thats one of the great things about London - multicultural and so many nice places to chose from.

  7. South London - Blackheath - there are lots of restaurants there, but I could recommend Chapter Two as it is excellent, classy and the food is on par with top priced restaurants in the centre of town but half the price (its sister branch is Michelin starred). On the slightly cheaper price side: Bella Vista, smart restaurant for Italian and more informal dining but excellent food is to be had at Zero Degrees (a micro brewery bar). They make the most fantastic pizzas in London - try the hoi sin duck!

Central London - Cafe Pacifico in Langley Street for Mexican, Bank Bar and Restaurant at Aldwych, Sway in Great Queen Street, PJ Bar, Grill and Restaurant, Wellington Street - very, very nice for the mid price range.

    Bon Appetit!

  9. Try vegetarian restaurant called Manna in Primrose hill. It's delicious or for more eclectic experience Archipelago by Warren street tube station. they have some quirky stuff there, but divine.

  10. you really need to include a budget to get a answer, restraunts can vary hugely, knowing the price range will help people answer you sensibly.

  11. Cafe Emm, Soho. Very good value.

  12. Try Busuba on Wardour st in Soho. Its amazing Thai food. You share tables with up to 8 people and its very quick service. There is always a queue outside but it goes down really quickly.

El Rinkon Latino on Clapham Manor St, nearest tube Clapham Common or Clapham north, is a really lovely Latino tapas bar. Great for lunch, late afternoon snacks or wine but in the evening time its the best when it gets really busy but has an amazing atmosphere. Very cosy and great music, friendly waiters but most importantly amazing food.

Strada has always been a good favourite of mine for reasonably priced good italian food though. They're everywhere nowadays.
