Best diving/vacationing in Southern Africa area....?

Question

My wife and I are looking to go on around about a week's vacation somewhere close to South Africa around the beginning of October...

We are avid divers but would prefer to avoid the sharkies!!

Narrowing it down to:

Pemba (island close to Zanzibar)

Mombasa

Seychelles

Mauritius

Not too sure on the diving in any of these areas.

Please help!

Bruce I am also a diver and have been on many-many dives in the Philippines, Indonesia, Red Sea and Gulf of Aqaba, Catalina Island in California, Baja California Mexico, Belize, Fiji.  Hanging out with other divers and talking about it, those who have been to Seychelles always mention it as one of the unspoiled places with reliable services and they highly recommended it....It may be more expensive to get there and then go to South Africa.  

Great for me to give you advice on a spot I have not been to, however since it is closer to equator and also far away from polluting mainland one should have good visibility.
