Question:

Best double buggy?

i have a 16 month old that will be 22 months when my second baby is born and i was wondering what double buggy everyone would recomend, i really dont want one that the newborn has to be in a car seat all the time (would prefer if baby could be layed flat in a carry cot ) and i really dont want the newborn facing away from me im abit stuck as i dont no anyone that has a double buggy for different aged kids, thanks in advance xx

  1. When my two were very little I found a buggy where they go one behind the other easier than a side by side buggy.

    The side by sides are generally too wide for shop doors etc.

  2. Kolcraft makes a tandem stroller that you can switch the direction of the seats.

    I will say that with different aged kids you're better off with a tandem than a side-by-side because they're easier to steer  with kids of different weights and it will keep the older child from messing with the younger one.

    Another option is a sit-n-stand, the older one probably won't need a stroller for much longer and they are more compact.

  4. the best one I had was the Graco Duorider - both seats faced away but could be altered independently so one could lie flat for my daughter and the other could be upright for my son ( there are 23 months between them) hope this helps
