  1. Not Strauss at WK, need him to concentrate on his day job, imagine he's kept for two days then he's first up..too much to ask, and no, not Jones either! Not sure there,,sry:( Foster maybe?

Prefer Broad to Harmy, think Harmison is past his best now.

  2. i don't care for england

    india is the best

  3. My lineup would be:

    Cook

    Strauss

    Vaughan

    Pietersen

    Bell

    Collingwood

    Flintoff

    Prior

    Sidebottom

    Hoggard

    Panesar

  4. all are good but i think harimison should be replaced by sidebottom

  5. I don't agree with a few of your selections...Flintoff is past his best and Bopara hasn't done anything to merit selection. Harmison should be quickly forgotten about too. As to Strauss keeping wicket...strange.

    I'd go for:

    Vaughan

    Strauss

    Cook

    Pietersen

    Collingwood

    Bell

    Ambrose wkt

    Broad

    Sidebottom

    Hoggard

    Panesar

if you want 4 bowlers plus a few overs from Pieterson (who often spins it more than Panesar and should take his bowling more seriously). I certainly wouldn't have Cook and Strauss opening together, they put pressure on each other by scoring too slowly. That is where Trescothick is so missed...

If you wanted 5 specialist bowlers, then I'd pick:

    Vaughan

    Cook

    Bell

    Pieterson

    Collingwood

    Prior wkt

    Rashid

    Broad

    Sidebottom

    Hoggard

    Panesar

They have to chuck Adil Rashid in at some point, and he is good enough to bat in the middle order, as is Broad - you could get a lot of runs out of this line-up. Rashid needs to play test cricket before next year's Ashes, and NZ at home is about as friendly as meaningful test matches can get. Prior may make mistakes behind the stumps, but I think he could hold down a place in the top 6 as a batsman alone.

  6. Why is Pietersen batting so low on yours?.

    If everyone was 100% fit.

    My Team-

    Alistair Cook

    Andrew Strauss

    Michael Vaughan

    Kevin Pietersen

    Ian Bell

    Paul Collingwood

    Matt Prior

    Andrew Flintoff

    Adil Rashid

    Ryan Sidebottom

    Simon Jones

    12th man- Stuart Broad.

I would re-call Matt Prior, he is a superior batsmen to Ambrose, he would be the whole package if he improved his keeping. Panesar would be replaced by Adil Rashid who is close to him in bowling talent, and a much beter batsmen. Anderson would be replaced by Flintoff, because Flintoff is more consistent. Simon Jones would come back into the side for Broad.

My Team for the NZ series

    Alistair Cook

    Andrew Strauss

    Michael Vaughan

    Kevin Pietersen

    Ian Bell

Paul Collingwood (if fit) (Shah if not)

    Tim Ambrose

    Stuart Broad

    Ryan Sidebottom

    Matthew Hoggard

    Monty Panesar

Same team as the NZ series, but include Hoggard instead of Anderson, because simply Hoggard is a better and more consistent bowler

    12th Man- Owais Shah
