Well, my favorite movie is "The Boondock Saints", but I'm not deluded enough to think it's the -best- movie.  I would have to say "Citizen Kane" or "Casablanca".

(I also think Hitchcock's movies were groundbreaking).

Special effects do not make a movie the best ever!  Dialog and plot make a movie the best ever.  Don't get me wrong special effects make movie amazing, but you can't compare Brando or Bogart and their acting to the special effects of the Matrix or Spiderman 3
