Best fisheye lens for Canon 400D camera?

I've been looking around at different websites and have come up with a few options: Tokina 10-17, Sigma 8mm or 15mm or an ultra expensive Canon. I'd be using it primarily for live gig photography.. I'm a student so I'm not looking to spend over $1000.. I'd love to hear from someone in the know..

I know a few folks who swear by the Tokina.  It goes from a fisheye to wide, which is a great advatage... I'm not familiar with the Sigma fisheye.. the Canon fisheye is awesome.
