  4. Of course Rome, Florence and Venice. I advise you Pisa and its Leaning Tower which is only an hour from Florence. The last one is Naples and Amalfi coast.

  5. Rome, Florence, Venice, Lakes, Amalfi Coast

  6. I'm Italian and I think that all Italy is beautiful but if you want visit the real Italy you have to go in the small villages that often offer more than the touristic places, for sure the south is more inters ting than the nord. Campania, Puglia e Sicilia are the best. I live in Campania in an antic small Greek village that is called Paestum (find it in Internet) and from here you can easily reach all the most important archaeological site and the beautiful Ciletana Coast. It is not so far from Rome and Naples but it is very safe and  nice, and here you can taste the original food of the Mediterranean diet. If you decide to come here write me and it will be a pleasure to help you. My name is Enza.

  7. ☻Rome

  9. Venice

    Florence

    Rome

    Naples

    Palermo

    or areas:

    Friuli

    Veneto

    Tuscany

    Lazio

    Sicily

  10. Florence, Rome, Pisa, Vence,

I especially like the south but once you get south of Rome there are few ... if any....English speaking people.

I like Calabria the best. The beaches are fantastic and the sightseeing is spectactular. It is mountainous and there are villages through the mountains. There is a small town call Piza on the sea.  The sand on the beach is white like Cancun. Napoleans sister lived in a castle on the beach in Piza....but noone speaks English. If someone in your party speaks Italian....I would definetly recommend visiting the south.

  11. venice, rome, amalfi coast, milan, verona, garda lake, florence, the hills of tuscany...... and much more!!

  12. Rome, Venice, Almalfi Coast (voted as the 2nd most beautiful coast in the world), Matera (a cave dwelling from prehistoric time till 1953 when 30,000 people were relocated, now a UNESCO site, also it so much like Juesleum that a lot of the Biblical films including the Passion of the Christ were taken there), Viterbo (an hour train ride from Rome, the oldest best preserved Estrucan town before the Roman Empire)

  13. It depends on what you're looking for: you certainly don't have to miss Rome, Florence (that's where I come from =D) and Venice! Furthermore, the area near Naples is fantastic (Costiera Amalfitana, Vesuvius, Capri, Naples itself..) but you'll find almost nobody speaking English.. and you'll have to watch out for your personal belongins since criminality is a bit tougher down there. If you like doing much shopping Milan will be your paradise, while if you're looking for more cultural interesting places you should not miss Pisa and Siena near Florence or Verona near Venice. The landscape will be beautiful especially in Tuscany and Umbria, or north in the Alps. Southern Italy is also astonishing, but I guess you won't be able to get around as well as necessary without a car: anyway.. Puglia and Sicily shouldn't be missed there. Finally, if you're looking for beaches, Sardinia and Calabria could be the places you wanna visit!

  14. Italy is a beautiful country. It's hard to say where is the best place. I love San Marino. A small country inside Italy. Nice shops you can walk and shop all day.

Rimini has miniature landmarks all over Italy and Europe. I also like this place. I've never been to Southern Italy but I'd love to go there one day. Better yet, I would love to live there.

  15. i'm italian, too.

    My favourite places are:

    Venezia

    Monterosso, corniglia...(5 Terre-Liguria)

    Roma

    Milano

    All places in sardegna!

    Ciao!

  16. Anywhere you visit in Italy will be memorable.  My favorites are all in Sicily:  Cefalu, Agrigento, Taormina, Enna and Siragusa.  Have fun and explore places off the beaten path.

  17. It's simple...

    1. Rome 2. Venice 3. Portofino 4. Milan or Bergamo with the Upper and Low Town and finally...Florence.

In Italy there are many places to visit and choose is very hard!

It's an italian to say this.

    Bye

  18. Ferentino -- its my fav. its older than Rome and the most gorgeous place.

    Anagni

    Florence

    Rome

    Milan
