Best flat iron out there?

thick

curly

bushy

coarse

hair

its not soft at all so i use some Chi silk infusion

i have the solia iron and dont like it, it doesnt straighten my hair well adn it drys out easily.

after reading so maany great reviews, i purchased the 2 '' CHI turbo, im not impressed

it doesnt make my hair pin straight.. and it frizzes up afterwards.. but its a little better than my solia..

im taking it back toomorrow and my plan was to just get the original CHi but are there any better irons?

which is the best iron?

I have the original chi and I love it! Even though I don't have all the qualities your hair does, I have a few of them. The trick is to straighten in small increments. Tie up half your hair and do a 2" peice at a time and you will be surprised as to how flat and straight it will become.

I have lots of thick, curly, wavy, frizzy hair, straightening it used to mean I would end up with smoother curls rather than straight hair - I have tried other straighteners and in all honesty the Maxi-Glide is my favourite - when I do wear my hair curly people ask how I get curly hair when my hair is usually so straight.  With the Maxi-Glide I also only have to straighten my hair a couple times a week (occasionally my bangs need a touch up, but that is it) - the MG has these little metal pins in it that actually pulls your hair straight, rather than just flatening it out which is why it stays straight.  Since changing to the Maxi-Glide my hair doesn't look damaged either, I have never needed a setting above five and because I don't need to waste time blow drying it straight in order to straighten it it saves time too.

I have the regular CHI and it works great on my, curly, frizzy, thin hair. It works great on my sisters hair too and it sounds exactly like your hair. Good luck! I am going to straighten my hair now!!!!
