Best foreign language for biotech programmer?

I want to learn a foreign language to enrich my career and also for traveling. I'm a computer programmer in the biotech industry. I already know English (duh) and Japanese. Suggestion?

  2. German. Several important Chemistry publications are published in German.

  4. how about French? im not sure how it would fair up in being a biotech programmer but considering it is one of the main languages used internationally and that a lot of people speak French as a second language i think it would be a good one to be able to speak. plus its fairly easy to learn if English is your first language
