  1. I have this same problem! I went through so many foundation mishaps, by process of elimination i discovered loose powder mineral based foundations are the BEST! Brands don't really matter, from covergirl to infomercials they were pretty much worth the wait.

  2. Choose a Matte, oil-free kind of foundation and test it on your jawline if it stands out it is wrong, if it fades, it is correct.

  3. Bare Minerals is great, its gentle and works well with all skin-tones it comes in blush, foundation and conealor.

  4. dream matt mousse is really good

i have oily skin and because when you apply it it gives your skin a matte coating it makes your skin looks less oily

but you have to make sure that you have no dry areas of sink on your face because it really emphasises them

  5. I use bare minerals. I have combination skin that's mostly oily and acne prone. It really lets the skin breathe and prevents me from breaking out. If I get really hot (It's 105 here in Texas) and you start to get oily, you can just dust on some mineral veil and it helps. The best thing to do would be to wear bare minerals and use oil dabbing sheets when your skin gets oily. I would recommend getting the starter pack in medium (bareminerals.com), I also have medium white/tan skin being hapa. If you get the starter pack just make sure once you receive it to call their hotline and cancel the monthly subscription thing, my first little container seriously lasted me 1 1/2 years. If you don't want to get the starter pack, you could always buy a foundation, mineral veil, concealer brush and kabuki brush separately at bareescentuals.com, Ulta or Sephora, but it would be a LOT more expensive for a LOT less. For the oil dabbing sheets, clean and clear makes some that should be available at grocery/drug stores in the skincare isle or e.l.f makes some for $1 + shipping (eyeslipsface.com).

  6. Neutrogena makes a liquid makeup for oily skin called skin clearing oil free makeup.  By your description it sounds like your color would be Softest Gold.  It has acne medication in it and it absorbs oil.

If you like a full coverage then MAC makes a makeup called studio fix.  It wears really well for oily skin but it is a heavier coverage.

Revlon also makes one called Colorstay for combination/oily skin.

I have tried all three of these over the years and they are all good for oily skin.  I have oily skin that gets oiler toward the end of the day.  I use those blotting papers and then apply a little powder after lunch.

Also, I keep my receipt so that if I buy a foundation I don't like I can return it and try a different one.

    Good luck!
