Best free antivirus and firewall.

Question

I'd like opinions on what the best FREE antivirus is and the best FREE firewall.

Right now I'm using AVG, I was using AVAST but I kept getting trojans and switched...I'm also using COMODO firewall, but for some reason I can't connect in Limewire...I have it set to "allow" anything that has to do with Limewire but I haven't been able to connect in a long time...

I really don't like AVG because it seems to be a resource hog..

Personal opinions more than welcome !

AVG is by far the best anti-virus

Firewall wise I use the standard windows xp stuff and windows defender.

I can't give an honest answer when it comes to free Anti Virus programs

because the free versions are limited  in their protection of your computer if you want full protection you have to pay for it.
