Best free music downloader...?

i used limewire and bearshare but they gave me viruses...

any good ones out there??

I will give you a link to download music, but not before telling you, that limewire and bearshare did not give you viruses. You did, by downloading the wrong kind of files.  I can say this, because programs like Limewire DO NOT HAVE VIRUSES.  They have fake files, files pretending to be a song or movie, but are in fact viruses. You must have downloaded the fake files and therefore infected your computer.

When you do a search you always see a lot of those small files, files too small to be a song. Therefore it is very likely, that those small files are the fake (dummy) files. So stay away from those.

Start your downloads with files larger than 2500/3000kb.

Nothing is completely safe at the internet, so make sure your anti virus is up to date. When a virus slips through your anti virus will take of it.

Then you can do a scan in safe mode. More effective that way.
