Best free program to convert .AVI files to play on Itouch? I have a PC?

I just downloaded a program in .AVI format, I read itouch won't play .AVI.

Any free programs to convert?

I don't know any freeware to convert avi to ipod, I know a ipod video converter that convert avi to mp4 for itouch, it works great for me, if you want to try it too, you can free download it here,
