Best friend pissed off about my new boyfriend?

Hey!

So, I've always sort-of had a little crush on this boy, Chris. It wasn't that big enough for me to tell anyone or anything, so I just kept quiet, cause he also had (keyword: had) a girlfriend. Now this morning, he asked me out, and said that his girlfriend was making him mad, so he broke up with her.

So, I said "sure" to his question and we were texting back and forth. I told my closest best friend, Sammy and she just seemed happy for me. Now, my other best friend, Christine, signed on and said "you're with Chris?" and I said "wow word gets around fast!" And she isn't happy for me...

Heres part of our convo:

Christine: Why are you going out with him?

Me: Hes nice

Christine: You don't know him.

Me: Hmph.

Me: We talk a lot.

Christine:...

Christine: Just because you talk, doesn't mean you know him.

So theres just an example. And now I think shes mad at me, and his ex-girlfriend is having her best friend call me and c**p. I really like him! Please help! What should I do? I've never judged Christine for any of her boyfriends...this is my second boyfriend, though the first was never "official" where-as Christine has had many and I've still never judged her for that. HELP!

Wow, I totally get you. This is a sticky situation and there are plenty of reasons for it. Maby she liked him. Maby she thinks hes a bad guy and is worried for you. But what i really think it is, is she had many boyfriends before and you haven&#039;t! Maby she is jealous that you have one now. It would make sense. I think it a good thing you have one and you really like him. =] Good for you. Ignore the exs friend calling you. Allot of drama is going to happen! Talk to your friend and ask her why she is mad at you. Tell her shes your friend and she should be happy for you because your happy! I hope this helps. good luck.

I think that your best friend is jealous because she likes (more than a friend) your new boyfriend.  To solve this problem, talk to her about this situation and hopefully that she will understand.  The arguement is not even worth it.
