One toy I always recommend for young children is the Playskool Busy Ball Popper. My almost 6 yr old son had one when he was a baby and he LOVED it. I bought one for my friend's daughter and my cousin's daughter, and gave my son's toy to my other cousin when he outgrew it. It's only about $20 and you can buy extra balls from the company for only a few dollars. Here is a link to it on the Hasbro site, but you can find it just about anywhere..Walmart, Toys R Us, K Mart, Target, Amazon... Good luck!

um...dolls,books,a home made blanket or just a really cute one, giftcard for the mom to spend on the daughter i know i luv when i get giftcards to spend on my 11 month son um...thats all i can think of

Books and little dolls are always cute and a good present. You could also give her a decorative angel or memorabilia.
