i am a 14 year old casual golfer. i live near a course and am starting to get really into it. I score usuall in the mid to high 80's and sometimes the 90's. i am going to be joining the youth tour and am getting my equiptment. i want to know what would be a good ball for me? i dont swing very fast but hit the ball pretty good with a bit of a slice. the course i play at in in Ca and is very dry and always windy. i am willing to pay any price for a ball . thank you very much

  1. I usually play pro V1x or pro vs, but otherwise, other balls doesn't really matter. callaway, titleist, nike, are probably all the same. pro Vs and pro v1x, they just spin more, . i think pro Vs  moree, accurate and pro v1x is going for more distance.

  2. titlests

  3. Titleist balls feel like butter off of the club. Callaways feel like rocks. If you want response, go with callaway. If you want performance, go with titleist.

Do you think you could buy balls for me too man. I would say that you are a fool if you think you can spend your parents money on expensive balls without consequence. Get a job and buy them yourself. And if youre fourteen, that isn't legal. You suck. You should stop moaning about what we think and join the real world. Try them all yourself. Then **** off.

  4. Low compression with low spin.

    Titlest DT SoLo

    Precept Laddie

  5. do yourself a favor and play the Callaway HX Hot ball.  Don't get caught off guard by the cheap(er) price.  It's a great ball.  It will not spin much so you'll hit it straight....and you'll definitely gain yardage.  Stay away from the ProV1 or some other soft expensive ball....just FYI from someone experienced in golf...

  6. if price doesnt matter, the prov1 is a good choice

  7. Titleist NXT extreme  is a good ball that will not spin as much as other balls(less spin equals smaller slice) but still has good touch around the greens

  8. Check out GolfMagazine.com, they have a good article on that subject right now.

  9. umm the one that still has its ridges?

  10. i'm not a pro but played golf for years--best handicap--5   if you dont hit the ball hard then i think you should start with a low compression ball--like 80 compression.  as you get better go to a 90 comp.  there are a lot of good balls--titleist for one.  ask the pro at the pro shop where you play what he would suggest.  pro line balls such as the titleist cost more but you probably dont need them yet
