  1. Footjoy and nike are very good in my opinion.

I think this because i foun them very comfortable and durable. However u may have different preferences.

  2. I've yet to buy a pair of FootJoys that didn't fit comfortably right out of the box. I've golfed for many years and have had 25 pair of FootJoys. The key is to get the sizing and width for a particular manufacturer that matches your foot. One shoe manufacturer's size 9 1/2, D width is not the same as another shoe manufacturer's size 9 1/2, D width. Once you get the right fit with FootJoy, there is no comparison. I've tried others, maybe a little cheaper but I've always gone back to FootJoy.

  3. Depends on fit and feel; Footjoy and Ecco make fantastic golf shoes; look for something that has a good waterproof guarantee given that the weather is...well, you're in Scotland so you know!

Try on several different brands and see which one feels best on your feet; if you go, try shopping at the end of the day when your foot will be slightly bigger than early in the morning; make sure to bring a pair of socks like those that you wear on the course.

  4. I tried all types but ironically the only shoes that are really comfortable for me is wide fitting Etonic. I say ironically because you cannot buy them in the UK anymore!!!!!!!!!!

  5. As a matter of rule, I only buy golf shoes from known sports shoe brands like Nike and Adidas.

Why? Simply because they apply allot of science in analysing the biomechanics of walking,  torque and weight shift.  Personally, I don't think Tiger and Sergio will wear those brands if they don't believe in the science that went into the shoe.

Buy a pair that would be able to take the miles of walking, moisture, sand, rocks etc.  All elements in a golf game.

  6. I got a pair of Addidas that aren't too bad.

  7. i have and always will wear footjoys. they are by far the best golf shoes i have ever worn. At the moment i have footjoy Myjoys. this particular model allows you to have your name/kids name embroidered on the side of the shoe. I would 100% recommend Footjoy.
