  1. Go with the Vokey. It is the newer club and the better model.

  2. Go with the Titleist Vokey Spin Milled. It costs a little more, but your friend will love it. It is a newer model, and has better technology than the older Cleveland wedge. The Vokey will provide more spin, and it has great feel. It was the Testers' Top Pick in Clubtest 2007 done by Golf Magazine (May 2007)

Also, how can that guy say that all Titleist stuff are copies? Essentially, all wedges on the market are "copies" of Gene Sarazen's original sand wedge. The Cleveland Golf company even says that the Tour Action 588 has a "classic design and classic profile", so doesn't that mean that their wedge is also a copy? Obviously you know nothing about golf clubs. If you don't know what you are talking about, don't answer the questions.

  3. I would say go with the Cleveland, but not that model.  Cleveland has several series of wedges, and the best by far is the CG series.  Its made of a softer metal and has newly designed grooves that make it easier to put spin on the ball.  The CG 10 and 12 wedges are designed for a good golfer, the CG 11's are geared toward the intermediate to beginning golfer.  I also saw a set of CG 14 wedges I believe, these are brand new and I know nothing about them, but you might want to check these out too.

  4. I'm a big fan of the Cleveland 588. Just simply the best design. Vokey's are just copies. Titleist is great for that. same with the Cameron putters. Always go with the original great designs.

  5. I would go with the cleveland, thats a very nice wedge and its good looking too, he'll love it

  6. Spin Milled the best.
