Best guitar brand... what's your favorite?

Hey guys...

I'm trying to decide on what brand of electric guitar I'm gonna buy next. I have three choices in mind that are all under $800.

1.) Esp Ltd EC-500

3.) Some Kind of Ibanez guitar priced $800 or under

I have been playing guitar for 7 years, and right now I have a Fender mex Strat HSS that doesnt do me justice anymore. Please Help!

Personal Favorite is Ibanez (Actually, its MusicMan but theyre out of the price range of most teenage guitarists) guitars because they do single coil and humbucker really well. However, I also find that gibsons sound great as rhythm guitars, and fenders sound amazing clean. For  the love of god dont get a schecter, they all sound horrible (Same goed for jackson)

If you've been playing for 7 years then it's time to spend more than $800.  I recommend looking at PRS guitars like the Custom 22, Custom 24, or McCarty II models.  They are wonderful, versatile guitars.

Of the 3 mentioned, I personally would go with Ibanez. I actually have a cheap Ibanez Artcore that sounds killer considering it was only $300. My favorite brand, however, is Gibson. Still, Ibanez are nice.

Musicman is really good! Thats one of the few guitars KR plays in standard tunning.
