I hate, with a passion, having to shave my legs. i don't know whether or not my legs are more sensitive than other people but i always have irritation from shaving and bumps and ingrown hairs and ones that grow just below the skin, that no one else I've known ever got as much as I do, so what is the best one to use?

  1. was duct tape a serious answer??

  2. Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods. Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful. Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged. A review of the various hair removal methods is available at http://www.hairremoval.in

  3. Those hair removal creams always irritate my skin and i also have sensitive skin.  I recently got an electric shaver for $10 and it doesn't irritate my skin.

  4. Try changing your razorblade more often (3-4 shaves per blade), using a shave gel for sensitive skin, and using lots of lotion afterward. All those razorless hair removers will only make the ingrown hairs worse, and waxing is way painful (and it irritates the skin).

But I suppose you could do that laser hair removal, but that seems pretty expensive.

  5. I get that too. I just go very gently and don't push down hard. You could also use a spray on hair remover that you just sponge off.

  6. I use veet. At first it itches a little bit but it's nothing compared to razor burns, nicks, ect, ect. It leaves a nice smooth finish too. Hope that helps =]

  7. Hi:

I am a Registered Nurse and I specialize in skin care and hair removal.

First of all, please understand that everything that the body develops has a purpose to it!!! Even pesky hair.

So while hair is there for a reason, it is unpleasant and is not cosmetically appealing.

Now to answer your question your age is very important.

If you are young and under 18 you should always consult with your mom if you're a female or your father if you're a male because they have been in your shoes as well.

Now for under 18, I recommend waxing which pulls the hair out of the root and weakens the root and eventually your hair will grow in weaker and smoother.

Shaving can cause cuts and ingrowns so avoid it if you can.

Now, if you're over 18, you should consider laser hair removal. The laser beam destroys the root of the hair and after multiple treatments you will have at least 80% hair reduction which will never grow back and you will have the smooth and hairless area you desire.

Now not everyone is a candidate for laser. If you want to know if you're a candidate, visit this website:

I recommend CoolGlide Laser Hair Technology. It's the safest and FDA approved.

Do your research and make sure all the places you visit are sterile and google them. Make sure they appear on google multiple times.

    Good Luck,

    Michelle

  8. get it professionally done, but its kind of expensive, you need like 6 treatments and its a couple hundred dollars every treatment. but its worth it, i have it on my armpits and i have to shave like onnce every two weeks.

  9. duct tape or laser treatment?

  10. duct tape

  11. wax your legs.

ur legs will b sooo smooth and hairless for like a month no matter how think and quick grown your hair is.
