Pipers Kilt on Route 22 in Eastchester.  Its like a real pub and the wait staff is excellent.  They have been known for their burgers since they opened years ago.  1 lb burgers

The Piper's Kilt in Eastchester (Route 22) is the place to go.  But, be patient with the slow service as it's worth the wait.

Also, the Eastchester Diner (on Route 22, too), has great burgers.   I've even enjoyed the burgers at Joe's Quarry on Marbledale Ave. in Tuckahoe, just less then a half a mile from the Piper's Kilt and the Diner.  Experiment!

you know what--there's actually a couple of migrants from cuba that opened a shop with booming business. it was all over the entertainment section of my newspaper.it's called

"LA HAMBURGUESA"

it's across the street from mcdonalds some place on wall street
