  1. Personally I loved Turkey, stayed in a place called Ladies beach the The Palmin hotel, was lovely, went to ephesus, an ancient city was fab. Ladies beach really nice, lovely restaurants and cheap! Turks are really friendly but big into haggling so be warned! The food was great, the people were nice, and then there's places like Jimmy in Kusadasi if you want to boogey on down. I enjoyed Turkey and would go back but that's just my opinion

  2. Great scenery: how about secluded coves, or endless stretches of golden beach, framed with sparklings seas.

Fantastic weather: how does 300 days of sunshine a year sound?

history & culture: over two thousand years of it, where the Phoenicians, Egyptians, Greks, Romans, Venetians and even us Brits have left their mark?

    Guessed it yet?

Romantic: goddess of love Aphrodite  was based here!

shopping, beach, mountains: yes, yes and yes with Crusader castles on top.

and a bargain would be nice, travelling from the UK: solved!

Where? North Cyprus! See the web sites below for flights, holidays, info and a suggestion for a lively resort hotel with the best beach in North Cyprus, the Acapulco.

    Have fun!

  3. Vancouver is a great place to go in the summer..

  4. Unfortunately the timing isn't ideal for a bargain as your birthday falls duing the school summer holidays.  Perhaps you'd be prepared to wait until September to grab a bargain?  Try these people, I've travelled with them, taking my husband to The Maldives for his 40th, all inclusive for less than £1000 each for a week:  http://www.tropicalsky.co.uk/

  5. I would go for Italy, In two weeks you would get a taste of Rome, Firenze, Torino, Milano  and Venezia.

These bases would allow you day trips to places like Vatican City, Sienna, Lucca, Pisa, the Amalfi coast, Rimini, Verona, Vicenza, Trieste, Bassano, Ferrara even down to Naples is achievable.

The trains are pretty good value, especially if you get your tickets on the day from the automatic vending machines.

You can also get a 1,3 or 5 day ticket for the vaporetta in Venice.

    Go for it

  6. Srik Lanka - lots to see, history, culture, jungle.  You need to be met at the airport and have a guide that stays with you for 7 or so days.  You will see so much and will probabley spend time in 3-4 hotels, it's tiring so then relax in the Maldives (Heaven)!  Have a good time.

  7. Hawaii!

It's a great island with beaches and mountains! =)

  8. 30 years old? Try here:

  9. france for romance

florida or australia for good weather

    rome for scenery

  10. My friend and I did, 3 nights Bangkok, 2 nights Singapore (hated Singapore, a bit sterile for me), then 11 nights on an island in the maldives - we had a great time, spent loads of cash and had a really fab three weeks.

  11. New Orleans is rich with all that.

St Augustine Fl is nice, Pensacola is a more a fave to me.

No matter where you go, there you are.

    Have FUN!

  12. It will cost a fortune for anything in July go to the travel agents about 3 days before and get an allocation on arrival.  I love  the Canaries explore the islands for the sights, it boiling hot there, romance can be made anywhere as long as you are with the right person, night life is good in some places beaches are very different all over you will find one you love and shopping is good

Have a great holiday and birthday good luck with the search
