Best holiday locations for young people?

i would really appreciate it if people could tell me their top holiday locations for people in their late teens, early twenties? im going with my boyfriend in late july or early september, and im looking for something with a bit of culture, and lots to do? any help would be appreciated, thanks ;)

Check into Vacation packages to Mexico. Puerto Vallarta is beautiful! I'm going there in December with my Hubby! There is really good airfare rates for there too.
