Barnacles in Temple Bar (Dublin), it's clean, it's very close to the centre of the city & within walking distance of the bus station although because it's party central in Temple Bar, it can be noisy in the early hours

HOSTEL not HOTEL!!

The Isaccs group are brilliant, I live in Ireland but have stayed with them numerous times.

They own two hostels and one hotel. Isaccs Hostel and Jacobs Inn are the names. They are around Busaras which is the main bus station serving the city. They are also across the road from a police station, you feel very safe and they really are clean and comfy.

You will pay about €21 a night for a dorm room, although they do offer from between 2 and 16 bedded rooms I think. They also quote from €10 a night.

I have LOADS of good memories of both of these hostels, and thoroughly recommend them to anyone. I know I will return myself.

Oh, and they do deals on weekly stays too.
