Best hours to operate my aboveground pool filter?

How long should I run my filter and during which hours of the day should it be running? I have a 50,000 L aboveground pool with a 1hp pump. Its in the sun practically all day but most of the activity takes place on the weekends.

You need to run the pool during the day unless you have a pool cover. I would recommend running it from 9am-9pm so the pool is getting fresh chlorine. You will lose most of your chlorine during the day because of the sunlight.
