  1. recce in light tanks whether you are yank, brit, canadian etc etc, loads of fun.

    you might be a great chef or truck driver but why join the army for that

  2. The best job for you would be the one that you are good at and would get the most out of.

    Work with your recruiter to find out what your strengths are and start from there.

  4. well what you like. party, service, education, to be hardcore, or just to get the pay. plus u are not going in at 16

  7. 16?  Seriously?  Good god you are a baby!  wait till you are 18 to worry about that., be a kid while you still can.  you have the rest of your life to work, dont stress about it now.

    You do realize you have to be 17 to join with parents consent.

  8. The best job is probably the job your best at.

    I would suggest you go to your local army recruitment office and discuss with the recruiting officers. Also for the British Army you will need to do a BARB test - a kind of aptitude test which will determine what army job you are able to do.

    There is a good website with plenty of advice plus the 'pathfinder' which asks questions and then suggests what might suit you.

    If you join at 16 you will most likely go to AFC Harrogate where you will do your basic training - you get plenty of opportunity to change your mind if you decide you want to do a different job.

  9. The best job in the Army is a cook. Once you have passed the catering course, you don't do any duties, and you get the best of the food. You don't even wear a uniform because you always wear your whites when on duty in the cook house. The squaddies do all the floor mopping and cleaning. It is known as cookhouse fatigues.
