I'm 16, and dont have my license or a car yet...so i need a job that will allow me to choose hours so my mom could give me a ride.

Im in high school, so i'd be able to work anytime after 3(since my mom gets home at 3, also)

What's a good part time job that has flexible hours?

  1. You could be a waiter at your local diner . you could ride your bike there and they usually give high schoolers flexable hours since there in schooll

  2. Local Grocery shop..

Any place where they sell everything for your hoem such as Key food.. Met food..Book store.. Any little shop.

  3. Retail, or a job at your local ice-cream parlor or grocery store sound ideal. You choose your hours in any part-time job, which you will write down on your application. It is up to the employer to schedule you according to your availability. Since I turned 16, I've been working in retail and it's a lot of fun if you're a people person and want sweet discounts. However, there aren't many stores that hire at 16. Some that do are American Eagle, Target, Wal-Mart, PacSun, Aeropostale, and Gymboree.

  4. McDonalds is a great first job!  They tend to cater to the newcomers in the workforce.

  5. restraunts or retail,

  6. Location is very important. Look around to see what jobs are close to home. Most retail jobs have very flexible hours especially for students.

  7. I'd say McDonald's - they promise a lot of flexibility for students.

  8. Honestly most jobs will accomidate for you. Just tell them when you can and cant work and theyll make your schedule based on that.
