I had a tmobile dash and loved... Right now I'm saving up for a nokia e71... But it depends on what you want from a phone... But I think Nokia makes the best phones.... go to phonescoop.com and check out all their reviews

The new sidekick 2008 edition is the best phone from T-mobile.

The LG Dare is the best from Verizon.

The Tilt is the best from AT&T.

The Instinct is the best from Sprint.

I have the LG Env and i loveee it! It has lasted me dropping it in the ocean, mud, water, and on pavement countless times. I've had it for almost 2 years. I am like, emotionally attached to it. haha it's name is Essence. =D anyways, it's really cute and functional and you should get one!
