Best landscape lens for Pentax K10D?

Thank you fhotoace and DCReed. Is the Pentax DA 12-24mm f/4 ED AL (IF) Lens the specific lens I should buy for landscape photos? Would the 20mm be wide enough for landscape photos?

    The 12-24 mm would be an outstanding lens for both landscape and architectural subjects


  2. I've got the K10D and K20D.  

    One of my favorite lenses is the SMC (Pentax) 50mm f/1.4 -- great lens, super fast, leave your flash at home. If you're into bokeh, it'll reduce your depth-of-field to next to nothing.  And it won't break the bank. Pentax' list price is like $325, but you can find it for just under $200 some places.

    If you need an even wider angle, the Sigma 20mm f/1.8 also does nice work: very crisp, very fast.  I've linked to a picture I did with that below.
