Best laptop under $1000?

Question

what is the best laptop that is under $1000? it needs to have a lot of features a big hard drive. fast processors ect.

Macbooks are my  favorite...fast, easy, and great programs such as iChat, built in camera, photobooth, safari, etc. However, the cheapest one costs about $1000. There are better ones like the Macbook Pro that are bigger and have a little more feautures but they can cost more than $2000. If you don't want a mac, you should definately get an HP. I love them...they are fast and easy and sleek. They can cost as cheap as $700.

Just look around for deals and compare them to other computers

If it looks like a good deal save the specs and look for a better one.

I have an HP and it is the most wonderful laptop.  I have had it for one year and never had a single problem with it.  My mom got a Dell at the same time as me and has had nothing but problems.  The Dell shuts down constantly, whenever it feels like it, locks up, etc.  My HP is wonderful, I highly reccomend it
