  1. Try Minnesott Beach North Carolina.  The marina there is decent, the winter is not too bad, you will get occasional snow.  They have a boatyard there for repairs.  there is a community college there (Pamlico Comm. Coll.).

The nearest city is New Bern, about 25 miles drive.  You are about an hour from Morehead City and Beaufort.  All in all, I highly recommend it.  The rates are very nice.  I had my boat there for about 1 1/2 years, mostly on the hard rebuilding her.

The mailing address is Arapahoe, NC

  2. I too have lived aboard in Maryland, but I liked the west coast of Florida better.  In fact I've often thought that the panhandle might be a good bet.  I know there are several nice places I've visited in Mississippi, Like Broadwater Beach and Gulfport.

  3. Florida Cheap> Not hot> Just have to look around> Look for the masts anchored out> If no morring balls than it's cheap>
