Rush is amazing, but Southside Johnny, Blue Oyster Cult, and Van Halen also put on great shows.

I've found that the Remus Lupins and the Ministry of Magic are energetic and fun on stage. They also talk to their fans a lot.

story of the year. I'm not really into their music anymore, but man! what a show! backflips, throwing with guitars (literally throwing them 20 feet to a roady to be able to jump on a cabinet and jump off by doing a backflip)

I also really liked the red hot chili peppers live

bands that sound great live, but they don't make a show: Jimmy Eat World, Death cab for cutie.
