what is the best magazine for a 13 year old girl? i would like fashion stuff, make-up tips, stuff about guys, and stuff like that, but nothing too "advanced" i guess (like "best make-out tips") or stuff about s*x lol. thanks!

when i was about that age, i got "girls life" magazine, which seems to be exactly what youre looking for. it had some great and helpful articles to help you through the stages youre at, and its not filled with s*x tips and how to loose weight and tons of stuff about celebrities. heres a link for it...

How about CosmoGirl or TeenVogue? It's tough, because it seems like all the teen magazines include stuff about s*x.

When I was 13, my mom had a problem with the magazines being too "advanced", but we didn't realize it until I got my gift subscription in the mail! So if your public library has magazines that you can check out (mine does), I would check out an issue of it before signing up for a subscription. That way, you can really thumb through it, see the values they are promoting, and how descriptive the magazine is. Or, you can go to the website for the magazine, and get a feel for what they focus on - are they focusing more on style and fashion, or boys and relationships?
