  1. Awwww... Ray V beat me to it...

I was going to say Cha-c***k Do (cha-c***k is the sound the slide on the pistol makes when you chamber a round)...

Best martial arts move ever for life or death situations:

If at all possible, DON'T BE THERE...

  2. krav yes, kuntao silat i think is ultimate for this as it contains hand to hand, sticks and ultimate knife fighting i haven't seen better i mean who does knives beter than the indonessian plus its all practical no strength moves which all end in death moves, bjj is good real life also your mma stuff is good too as it covers standup and ground, but i would say top 2 isreal military and kuntao silat

  3. There are some fillipino martial arts that involve two sticks.. to repel a knife from an attacker, but when are you carying two stikcs with you? might as well have a knife of your own, take off your shirt wrap it around your free hand & using that protected hand grab his occupied wrist & stab him with your knife.

  4. Do you have "killer instincts"?

How strong is your will to survive?

Can you act/react without concious thought?

The fox is stronger than the rabbit but in 99% of contests between them the rabbit wins. Why?Because the fox merely wins his dinner the rabbit wins his life.

There are no friendly fair or equal fights in reality and each has the potential of ending your life so act accordingly.

No method will instill killer instinct in you except in very few cases or strengthen your will to survive.

But any method after months maybe years of repitition of technique will  enable you to react without thought.

The variables in the type of situations you describe are so many and so unexpected no method with a thousand years of practice could cover them all.

  5. Kenpo, but not that cheap c**p, instense and strict kenpo karate is the way to go. Many other types help too, but try doing styles that deal more with fists and grappling because using your legs just gives you a disadvantage.

  6. Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu. It is a combat art that trains you to survive at all costs even if it means taking someone's life.

  7. gun fu.

  8. In a life and death situation, I have one word for you:

SUBMIT (do whatever they tell you to do.)

If you know beforehand that it will be a fight to the death, either:

    RUN AWAY

    or

DON'T SHOW UP FOR THE FIGHT!

  9. Obviously not being there is best, but lets face it stuff happens. All of the styles you mentioned are very effective, however if they are trained right just about any martial arts will be. the one exception with multiple attackers is probably BJJ since most of it's focus is on the ground. Good style just limited in multiple attacker situations.

Do not believe a word Bujinkan Ninja says. He claims all of this training in 8 styles yet still thinks that you have to register as a lethal weapon in florida when you are a yellow belt in TKD. Here is the proof.

he is a wanna be Ninja. The style he recommends might be fine, however i would bet finding a good teacher is difficult.

  10. Krav Maga. You think of a sitution in a dark alley or attack with a gun, knife, or pipe/stick they have a defense that is easer to learn and hard to forget. I take krav now and am only a few weeks in. but i feel very confident about being in dangerous situations. It would be much better to be taught by a teacher but if there is none in the area then simple books and dvds are just as effective. and its not a pretty martial art so you don't have to practice again and again and again to make it look picture perfect. It's simple, down to the point and effective.
